There are presently three KWVA Chapters in West Virginia. The first was the Mountaineer Chapter 146 in Charleston. The second was the Kenneth Shadrick Chapter 156 in Beckley. The Fairmont Chapter was next

WVKVA 2007 ANNUAL CONFERENCE WAS HELD JULY 27, 2007, AT THE RAMADA INN LOCATED IN SOUTH CHARLESTON, WV

Frank Goff was re-elected as President.  Chet Fleming was re-elected Vice President and
A C Squires was re-elected Secretary/ Treasurer
 

The business meeting began at 12:30 pm.  

A representative of the WV Archives Office  discussed veterans affairs.  The primary subject was urging the members to record their military service for the WV Archives.  Also discussed was the delayed opening of the new VA nursing home.

The Beckley Chapter gave a report about their new memorial that was dedicated in Sophia, WV on June 24, 2007.
